21 articlesFrequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we hear most often — before deployment and during the first weeks of use.
Q·01Can a patrol officer delete their own recording?+
No. The device has no delete function, and on the platform the "Patrol Officer" role has no rights to modify or delete material. Every action on a file is recorded in an immutable audit log.
Q·02What happens to a recording if the camera is damaged?+
The recording is stored in secure internal memory. On LTE-enabled models, footage is streamed to the archive continuously while recording — damage to the device doesn't destroy segments that have already been transmitted.
Q·03How do you prove in court that a recording wasn't altered?+
The file is digitally signed at the moment of recording, and every transfer link verifies the SHA-256 hash. The export package includes a chain-of-custody integrity report that can be verified independently.
Q·04How long are recordings kept?+
The retention period is set by the organization's policy: typically 30 days for routine recordings, and until a case is closed for case materials. When the period ends, recordings are archived or deleted automatically, with a log entry.
Q·05Can the platform be deployed on our own servers?+
Yes. Two options are supported: within an agency's secure perimeter on the organization's own servers, or in a secure data center. Infrastructure requirements are in document D·012 in the "Documentation" section.
Q·06What does the equipment warranty cover?+
Warranty service runs 24 months: diagnostics, repair, or device replacement. During repairs, a loaner pool keeps shifts equipped with cameras without interruption.
Downloads
Device firmware and software. Review the release notes before updating.
Platform updates are installed centrally as part of the service contract — no separate download required.
Technical support tickets
Every ticket receives a number and a priority. Response times are fixed in the contract.
The primary channel is the support portal: a ticket immediately enters the queue with a number, history, and status. A 24/7 line is available for critical incidents.
These times are the baseline SLA. For critical-infrastructure sites, an extended agreement with custom targets is arranged.
Service and maintenance
Equipment on duty can't wait: a loaner pool and scheduled maintenance keep the fleet operational.
24 months on all equipment: diagnostics, repair, or device replacement.
A comparable device is issued during repairs — shifts go out fully equipped.
Routine fleet checks: batteries, mounts, calibration, updates.
Centralized platform and firmware updates — without interrupting the service's work.
